Type material. Holotype (MNHN-IM-2000-6137). Type locality. Vietnam, Cap St. Jacques, Vung Tau. Distribution. South China Sea from Hong Kong to South Vietnam (Vung Tau). Remarks. This species differs from the above mentioned species of the genus Lepidozona by having prominent radial ribs on the head valve, lateral areas of intermediate valves and postmucronal area of the tail valve.
