Type species. Lectotype (ITZ), designated by Kaas & Van Belle 1985.

Type locality. Indonesia, Sanana Bay, E coast of Sulawesi, on reef .

Distribution. Indonesia and Hong Kong.

Remarks. In the studied area the only specimen was found in Hong Kong (Bullock & Harper 1994).
