The Iranian population of H. oryzae (Minasian & Barooti 1997) is characterized by having a strongly developed labial region, long pharyngeal glands overlapping intestine ventrally, reproductive system with two branches, outstretched, and elongate–conoid tail ending to a fine ventral to central mucro like the original description (Luc & Goodey 1964).
