– 8: on carbonate cliffs in tundra [121174], on fine earth between rocks, mixed with Mesoptychia heterocolpos, M. collaris, Blepharostoma trichophyllum subsp. brevirete, Tritomaria scitula, Schistochilopsis opacifolia, Distichium capillaceum, Mnium thomsonii, Encalypta affinis . This species has previously been recorded for the North Urals by Zinovjeva (1973).
