Genus Atelomycterus Garman, 1913 ^ZBK

Type species: Scyllium marmoratum Bennett, 1830 ^ZBK, by monotypy.

Compagno and Stevens (1993) defined the genus Atelomycterus ^ZBK as part of the A. fasciatus ^ZBK description; therefore, it will not be reviewed as part of the current analysis. Compagno (1988) also provides a more comprehensive analysis of the genus and its diagnostic features.
