Chrysochroma bigoti Lindner, 1968: 5 . ST 9 ♂, 2 ♀ [MNHN], 2 ♂ [SMNS]: Madagascar: Ivondro, Ranomafana, Fort Dauphin, and Périnet.
We examined two male syntypes [SMNS, MNHN]. Although this species has a rather elongate abdomen, which is atypical for Cephalochrysa, it also has the male eyes holoptic with separated large and small ommatidia. Because of the eye morphology we place this species in Cephalochrysa . The species was listed under the “unplaced species of Sarginae ” in Woodley (2001: 230).
Cephalochrysa flavum (Lindner) . Comb. nov.

Cephalochrysa lucens (Lindner) . Comb. nov.
Chrysochroma lucens Lindner, 1968: 8 . ST 22 ♂, 6 ♀ [MNHN, 5 in SMNS]: Madagascar: Bekily and Behara.
We have studied several male syntypes [SMNS, MNHN], and the species fits well with the concept of Cephalochrysa . It is the only completely metallic green Cephalochrysa species from Madagascar. The species was listed under the “unplaced species of Sarginae ” in Woodley (2001: 231).

In fact it could be conspecific with C. lapidis, but we want to wait for a thorough revision of this difficult genus. The species was listed under the “unplaced species of Sarginae ” in Woodley (2001: 231).
