Genus Dryodurgades Zachvatkin

Dryodurgades Zachvatkin, 1946: 158 as subgenus Durgades; Dlabola, 1957: 43; Wagner, 1963: 421; Viraktamath, 2011: 37. Type species: Jassus retictulatus Herrich-Schaeffer, 1834, by original designation.

Remarks: The genus Dryodurgades was recently revised for the Oriental region by Viraktamath (2011) who also redescribed the genus. It shares the character of reticulate venation with Paulagallia Viraktamath and some species of Austroagallia Evans. From the former, it differs in lacking punctate pronotum and basal areas of forewing and striate upper part of face. It differs from Austroagallia in having a symmetrical aedeagus and usually compressed shaft bearing apical paired processes and the connective usually short and closely associated with the aedeagus.

Distribution: Palaearctic and Oriental regions.
