Genus Phalonidia Le Marchand, 1933

The genus Phalonidia has a wide distribution in the Holarctic region. In the Palaearctic region, 26 species are known (Razowski 1970a); the genus also occurs in the Neotropical and Oriental regions (Razowski 2002). Three species are known from the Oriental region (Razowski 1992). One representative of the genus is known from Australia (Razowski 1970a).
