Comments. First record of this genus for Colombia. This genus has four described species recorded for Brazil and Costa Rica (Kirkaldy, 1909). The specimen studied herein is similar to Boea costaricensis Distant, 1890 . A revision of the genus is needed to determine if the studied specimen is an undescribed species or not.
