Type locality. Waikau Cave, Maui, Hawaii.

Material examined. Holotype female on slide, Maui: Waikau Cave, Koolau Gap, 4.xii.1976, deep zone, 800m, Howarth leg. (# 5440). Deposited in CARC.

Additions to original description. Lateral process of labial palp as thick as normal chaetae, with tip beyond apex of labial papilla. Manubrial plaque with 1 smooth and 2 ciliate chaetae and 2 pseudopores (Fig. 77). Abd.IV not clearly seen with at least 5 (I, A5, A6, B5, M) central mac.

Ecology. Known only from cave.

Distribution. Maui, Hawaii.

Remarks. This species can be distinguished from other Hawaii species by the long antennae more than 5 times as long as the cephalic diagonal.
