Rhodostrophia calabra (Petagna, 1787) ssp. transcaucasica Prout, 1920

Hausmann (2004) regarded this as a valid subspecies, distributed in eastern Turkey, Caucasus and Transcaucasus. Most probably this subspecies occurs also in north-western Iran, but we found no single confirmed record from Iran up to now.
