Material studied. Type locality: 5 ♂♂, 6 ♀♀: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Grebci, Grab (r)ovica pećina cave (Figs 39–40), coordinates 42°44‘37.7“N, 18°03‘27.7“E (WGS 84), 14.06.2005 and 15.04.2009, D. Čeplík lgt. (PCDČ, PCJC, PCPH) .

Remark. Anthroherpon spelaebatoides differs from all other species of the genus by the combination of following characters: 1) head slightly wider than pronotum (HW/PW: 1.1–1.2), with relatively deep punctation and dense pubescense (Fig. 6), 2) pronotum shorter than head (HL1/PL:1.3–1.6), without deep constriction in posterior third (Figs 1, 10), 3) pubescence on pronotal disc relatively dense (Figs 1, 10), 4) punctation on elytra dense and relatively deep, pubescense dense (Fig. 1), 5) anterior elongation of the mesoepiventrite poorly visible from dorsal aspect of the habitus (Fig. 1) but visible from latero–ventral aspect if venter is free of elytra and pronotum (Fig. 15), 6) mesoventro–mesoepiventral suture relatively well defined (Fig. 14), 7) smaller body size, BL: 3.9–4 mm, 8) AL: 4.3–4.6 mm. Antennae slightly shorter in females. Male antennomeres length (mm): (1) 0.29, (2) 0.13, (3) 0.50, (4) 0.32, (5) 0.41, (6) 0.37, (7) 0.53, (8) 0.36, (9) 0.55, (10) 0.55 and (11) 0.53. Female antennomeres length (mm): (1) 0.35, (2) 0.17, (3) 0.52, (4) 0.34, (5) 0.35, (6) 0.38, (7) 0.46, (8) 0.35, (9) 0.49, (10) 0.44 and (11) 0.50.

Biology: Subterranean species, so far known exclusively from caves.

Distribution: Bosnia and Herzegovina (Grebci), (Fig. 38).
