Original material: Herb. A. van Royen No. 901.212-211 (L) .

Current name: Aurinia saxatilis (L.) Desv. subsp. saxatilis ( Brassicaceae).

Note: Dudley (in J. Arnold Arbor. 45: 393. 1964) referred to a van Royen sheet (L) as the holotype, but gave its geographical code, not the unique sheet number. Two van Royen sheets of this taxon were borrowed by Dudley, and annotated as holotypes (Veldkamp, pers. comm.). Only one of these (no. 901.212-211) is annotated by Adriaan van Royen and would be the obvious choice as lectotype. The other (no. 901.212-215) is annotated by David van Royen. However, as Dudley did not distinguish between these sheets, the name remains untypified at present.
