Lectotype ( López González in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 53: 1050. 2004): [icon] " Alsine serpilli folio, multicaulis et multiflora " in Séguier, Pl. Veron. 1: 420, 417, t. 5, f. 2. 1745.

Current name: Arenaria ciliata L. ( Caryophyllaceae).

Note: Gutermann (in Phyton (Horn) 17: 32-33. 1975) indicated that the name should probably be typified by the Séguier plate but fell short of explicitly designating it as type, stating that the problem needed further study.
