Diagnosis
Epistome short and broad. Upper lip wider than long, emarginated or elongate and tapering. Mandible tapering to a smooth spoon-shaped or spatulate apex, molar rudimentary, no spine row. Lower lip without inner lobes. Maxilla 1, palp 2 articles, stout or 1-articulate and minute. Maxilliped outer plate broad, palp slender, 2 nd article not medially produced.
