Genus Rhyacopsyche Müller

This genus is exclusively Neotropical with 26 species, of which only one species, R. yatay Angrisano, has been recorded previously from Argentina. This species is considered to be closely related to R. hagenii Müller, although it has substantial differences with other species in the genus.
