Material examined. 5339 Regional Reg I Reg–02; 59.9160°N–3.3319°E; 68 m; 25.05.2011; one specimen.
Diagnosis. Antenna short, with a single articulation. Secondary ciliary organs present. Three prebranchial segments. Branchiae numbering 7–13 pairs; short and triangular. Modified notochaetae absent. Modified neurochaetae hooked with subterminal spine on concave side of stem.
Distribution. Eastern Atlantic, from the North Sea near Norway (Hartley 1981) and Kattegat and Øresund (Kirkegaard 1996) to the English Channel (Southward 1956). Mediterranean (Laubier & Ramos 1974). Eastern Pacific, from British Columbia (Hobson 1976) to Baja California (de León-González et al. 2006).
