Periscelis striata (Hennig, 1969) comb. nov.

Diagnosis. Frons yellow with pale sparse pruinescence and a brown spot above the middle, wide, occupying almost the entire width of the forehead and extending along the sides until close to the apex; dark brown ocellar triangle; yellow face with two small reniform spots above the middle, dense whitish pruinescence on the ventral margin of the face and more discrete lateral to the base of the antenna; gena, postgena and occiput yellow; scutum predominantly dark brown with one yellow stripe on dorsocentral line and one on notopleural region; pleura dark brown with one stripe on the ventral margin of the anepisternum; yellow scutellum with narrow brown basal spot; wing light brown with brown costal margin, basal part of the costal vein and Radius light yellow, M4 short, not reaching the wing margin; dm-m present, complete; CuA incomplete, cup cell absent.
