Distribution and habitat.

Shrublands, warm grasslands, and semi-deserts in the southern Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. In the Levant, limited to southern Israel and the West Bank * (Pisanty et al. 2018).

Flight period.

February to mid-April; in Iberia up to mid-May (Álvarez Fidalgo et al. 2022; Gaspar et al. 2023).

Flower preferences.

Broadly oligolectic on Brassicaceae (Wood 2023 a), with records on Diplotaxis and Sinapis (Álvarez Fidalgo et al. 2022; Wood et al. 2022).
