Pseudomys bolami Troughton 1932, Rec. Aust. Mus ., 18: 292.

Type Locality: Australia, South Australia, Ooldea.

Vernacular Names: Bolam's Pseudomys.

Distribution: Australia, S South Australia and S Western Australia (Kitchener, 1985:216, and Watts, 1995 f:588; Robinson et al., 2000); possibly once occurred in W Victoria (Menkhorst and Williams, 1995).

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Originally described by Troughton (1932 a) as a subspecies of P. hermannsburgensis, but distinguished from it and redescribed by Kitchener et al. (1984 a), who also reported sympatry of both species at Goongarrie, Western Australia. Reviewed by Watts (1995 f).
