Zetheumenidion celonitiforme (GiOrdani SOika, 1944)

Eumenes celonitiformis Giordani Soika 1944: 165, ♂ (in subgenus Zetheumenidion)—“ Africa orientale: Ukerewe, Marienhof” (MSNVE).
Diagnosis. Belonging to the group of species with dorsal side of mesosoma forming an even surface from pronotum to propodeum, very narrow and shallow median furrow of propodeum and shagreened outer face of male hind femur (Fig. 2D), in which is recognized by the strongly projecting and lamellar lateral carinae of propodeum, forming a hood-like projection above the lateral faces.
Material examined. HOLOTYPE OF EUMENES CELONITIFORMIS: ♂ labeled “D.O-Afrika / Marienhof / Ukerewe / 1911 / Conrads // HOLOTYPUS / celonitiformis / n.sp. / A Giordani Soika” (MSNVE). KENYA: Maziwa Mitatu and Maungu, 14.III/ 4.IV.1897, leg. C.S. Betton, 1♀ (MSVI).
