Bombus soroeensis (Fabricius, 1776)

Palearctic species, distributed in Europe from Spain to the southern part of central Siberia and Turkey and the Carpathian (Delmas 1976). In the Iberian Peninsula it is frequently observed in the Pyrenees and locations from the Cantabrian Range, between 600 and 2500 m (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez 2004).

The species is not considered threatened at a continental scale: Least Concern in the IUCN Red List of European Bees (Rasmont et al. 2015).
