Bombus pascuorum (Scopoli, 1763)

It is a western Palearctic species, very common and polytypic, represented in the Pyrenees by two subspecies (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez 2004). It is ubiquitously present in many types of habitats, even in human altered landscapes. Therefore, its status in the IUCN European Red List is of Least Concern (Rasmont et al. 2015).
