In Japan, a single species, A. japonicus Yoshida, Nagasaki & Hirayama, 2011, has been recorded. I newly found an additional species, A. scotinus (Tosquinet, 1903), from Japan. The character states of this species have been poorly described. Thus, I redescribe this species based on Japanese and Taiwanese materials below.
