locality and date unknown, Arduino s.n., Herb. Linnaeus No. 580.7 (LINN!). This specimen was mentioned by Ball and Heywood (1964). The sheet has two distinct specimens, one of which is labelled “Ard.”, and the typification refers to this specimen. Ball & Heywood mentioned that it "may be regarded at least as an isotype", but did not formally designate it as a type.
