Current name: Globularia alypum L. ( Globulariaceae).

Note: Milletti & Jarvis (in Taxon 36: 635-636. 1987) provide a detailed discussion, independently reaching the same conclusion as Fayed. Heath (l.c. 40: 94. 1991) argued that this type choice was invalid but this was refuted by Jarvis (l.c. 41: 63-64. 1992).
