Current name: Gentianella aurea (L.) Harry Sm. ex Hyl. ( Gentianaceae).

Note: Gillett (in Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard. 44: 242. 1957) indicated König material (presumably sheet 328.44 in LINN) as type. However, no annotation by Linnaeus associates this collection with the name, and the numerous König collections in LINN were mostly received well after 1759. This collection is therefore not accepted as original material for the name.
