Current name: Gentiana bavarica L. ( Gentianaceae).

Note: Ho & Liu (in Worldw. Monogr. Gentiana: 270. 2001) indicate what is evidently a Clifford sheet as holotype (with a specimen in S as “type”). The Clifford material must therefore be intended as a lectotype, but the absence of "designated here" (Art. 7.11) appears to make this an ineffective type choice.
