Current name: Antennaria dioica (L.) Gaertn. ( Asteraceae).
Note: Williams (in J. Bot. 39: 217. 1901) discussed this name and illustrated (as t. 423) sheet 989.69 (LINN). Despite stating “… all the European forms may be grouped in three varieties, inclusive of the type", nowhere is the LINN sheet itself indicated as the intended type specimen. Hilliard & Burtt (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 82: 241. 1981) also noted the existence of this material.
