It is principally associated as a host of Diaeretiella rapae (McIntosh, 1855) but is also a hyperparasitoid of Aphidius colemani Viereck, 1912, A. salicis Haliday, 1834, A. similis Stary & Carver, 1979, and A. sonchi Marshall, 1896 ( Braconidae: Aphidiinae) (Valentine 1975; Carver 1992), all of which are present in New Zealand. It is more widespread than NZAC records suggest. North Island: WI, WN. South Island: NN, OL, SL. Offshore Islands: SN.
