Charipinae

The Charipinae are a major group of hyperparasitoids of Braconidae (Aphidiinae) and Aphelinidae (Aphelininae) ( Hymenoptera) that parasitise aphids (Hemiptera: Aphididae) (Paretas-Martínez et al. 2007). The recent revision of Charipinae from New Zealand (Ferrer-Suay et al. 2012) forms the basis for the below information.
