Ganaspis Förster

Ganaspis are known to attack several families but often Drosophilidae or Chloropidae (Paretas-Martínez et al. 2013) . Distribution is limited: North Island: AK, BP. South Island: MC. Records from the NZAC show specimens have been collected from kiwifruit orchards, reared from leaf mines in Clematis rehderiana, and from Scaptomyza flava ( Diptera: Drosophilidae) pupae on turnips.
