Distribution in Iran. Tehran (Hoberlandt 1955, Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b, all misidentified as Trigonosoma / Ventocoris falcatum); Iran (no locality cited) (Rider 2006).

General distribution. Greece, Egypt (Sinai) and the Near East, Caucasus and Central Asia.

Host plants. Lives on Erucaria sp. ( Brassicaceae) (Péricart 2010).

Comments. Previous records of V. falcatus (Cyrillus, 1791) from Greece, Egypt and Asia belong to this species (Rider 2006; Dursun & Fent 2013).
