STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang and New Guinea, based on a specimen collected by W.-J. Chen. NTUM material (NTUM 10188).

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Eastern Indonesia east to Philippines, south to northern Australia. Bathypelagic, 503–1000 m. Marine.
