STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by McKay (1985: 8). KFRS and WAM material.
DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Red Sea, East and South Africa east to Philippines and Solomon Islands, north to Korea and southern Japan, south to Exmouth Gulf (Western Australia), Queensland (Australia) at 21°09'S and New Caledonia. Living on sand, often near coral reefs, 0– 1 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.
