Lophiodes infrabrunneus Smith & Radcliffe in Radcliffe, 1912 —Shortspine goosefish STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on specimens collected by W.-J. Chen. NTUM material (NTUM 10334, 10335, 10336).

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Northwestern Australia east to Philippines and Solomon Islands, north to southern Japan. Bathydemersal, 494–1560 m. Marine.
