Anchocerus aparamerus Solodovnikov 2008

Type locality. Malaysia, Borneo, Sabah Ulu Segama Forest Reserve, Danum Valley conservation area, 05°73 N, 117°37.61 E.
Type material. The species was hitherto known only from the male holotype (Solodovnikov 2008) which here was not examined. Additional males and female reported here fully match the original description.
Additional material examined. 3 ♂, 1 ♀: “ SABAH, Danum, Valley, B.R.l. [Borneo Rainforest lodge], f.i.t. [flight intercept trap] 14.–16.II.2007, G. De Rougemont” (GROG, JJRC).
Description. Detailed description and illustration of the holotype was published by Solodovnikov (2008). Habitus of the specimen from Borneo Rainforest lodge is illustrated as in Figs. 1–2 and male and female characters of specimens from this locality are illustrated as follows: aedeagus as in Figs. 5–8, male sternite 9 as in Fig. 3, male tergite 10 as in Fig. 4; female tergite 10 as in Fig. 9, female valvifer and poorly chitinised sclerite of female genital segment as in Fig. 10.
Distribution. The species is known only from the Danum valley area in Sabah, Borneo.
Bionomics. The species was collected by a flight intercept trap in the rainforest.
