Poeciloterpa obscura Schmidt, 1927: 149 .

Schmidt (1927) described this species from a male but did not dissect it. We provide here, the detailed description and illustration of male genitalia (Figs 121–125) of the type specimen and photographs of the habitus and labels (Figs 117–120).

Male terminalia (Fig. 121). In lateral view, pygofer (Fig. 122) dorsal margin as long as the ventral margin, concave in middle and forming prominent posterodorsal angle, ventral margin regularly curved, posterior margin slightly undulated forming a slight hump in middle. Subgenital plate (Fig. 123) on lateral view directed posterodorsally, largely tapered at last posterior third towards pointed apex, lateral plate pointing anteroventrally, intermediate plate present. Paramere (Fig. 124) with dorsal margin straight, then produced in an acute angle then straight again to toward apex, ventral margin curved, set of very short setae located before acute angle and oriented dorsoposteriorly. Aedeagus (Fig. 125) in lateral view with dorsal and ventral margins making both a break anteriorly then curving regularly towards, apical extension large and curled with a round tip oriented anteriorly, posterior protrusion large and hook-shaped with rounded apex oriented ventrally, posteroventral protrusion absent.
