Material examined: 1 3, labelled ‘ India, W.W. Saunders, 1868-4’ (BMNH).

Comments: This specimen (Fig. 57) was discussed by Hancock and Drew (2005). It is also labelled ‘ Trypeta cylindrica Walker’, an apparent manuscript name previously confused with Chyliza cylindrica (Walker), a species of Psilidae, It is not formally described here since the specimen lacks precise locality data; more material is required.
