Sinoxylon unidentatum (Fabricius) (Fig. 5L)
Sinodendron unidentatum Fabricius, 1801: 377 .
Distribution in mainland China: Unspecified locality in mainland China (Borowski 2007).
Other distribution. Cosmopolitan (Borowski & Węgrzynowicz 2007).
Biology. This widely distributed species, listed as cosmopolitan by Borowski & Węgrzynowicz (2007), is, however, only recorded from wet, warm areas in India (Beeson & Bhatia 1937 as S. conigerum Gerstäcker, 1855). Sittichaya & Beaver (2009) found the species was the dominant pest in air-dried and seasoned rubberwood ( Hevea brasiliensis Muell.Arg. ( Euphorbiaceae)) sawn timber in Thailand. Savoldelli & Regalin (2009) reported the species infested the wood pallets of tea imported from Sri Lanka to Italy.
