Distribution in China. Yunnan only.

Other distribution. Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam (Liu & Beaver 2018).

Host plants. Beeson and Bhatia (1937) recorded the species from Tectona grandis (Lamiaceae) and Wendlandia tinctoria (Rubiaceae) .
