Distribution in China. Gansu (Liu 2010), Taiwan (Liu et al. 2006).

Other distribution. India, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam (Liu & Beaver 2018).

Host plants. Numerous species are recorded by Beeson & Bhatia (1937), and the species is clearly polyphagous. It breeds in dry branches and small stems.
