Genus 2. DREPANOGNATHUS HNS.

Head elongate; eyes lateral, large, ovate and placed forward on the head, touching the base of the mandibles; the mandibles one-third longer than the head, bent, and curving upwards; their inner edge serrated, armed beneath, near their base, with a stout tooth; the antennae placed forward on the head. Thorax twice the length of the head; the prothorax swollen at the sides, the sides of meso- and metathorax parallel. The peduncle incrassate; the apical margin of the first segment of the abdomen constricted.
