Calvariopsis sp., female, Paraguay

Material examined. Female (ZMHB): “ Paraguay \ leg. Fiebrig”.

Notes on morphology. Body of moderate size (TL 2.65 mm), oval, dark brown, covered with yellowish setae. Apical portion of each elytron with two deep concavities: smaller, situated in depressed adsutural area, with a tuft of hooked setae, and slightly larger, situated on a small tubercle. Gonocoxites wide, subtriangular, with subapical gonostyli (Fig. 27L), bursal sclerite subtriangular, widened in posterior portion, with small subconical outgrowth.

Remarks. Included in group I due to the following characters: elytra with distinct foveate excitators, wide gonocoxites with subapical gonostyli.
