Calvariopsis sp., female, Panama
(Figs 2F, 27K)
Material examined. Female (SEMC): “ PANAMA Chiriqui Prov. \ La Fortuna, „Río Hornito \ Trail.” 08°42’N, 82°14’W \ 1000 m, 11 VI 1995 \ J. Ashe & R. Brooks #175 \ ex: fogging fungusy log”.
Notes on morphology. Body of moderate size (TL 2.85 mm), oblong, dark brown, apical half of elytra densely covered with erect setae, excitators absent. Gonocoxites wide, subtriangular, with subapical gonostyli (Fig. 27K), bursal sclerite subtriangular, widened in posterior portion, with small subconical outgrowth.
Remarks. Size and morphology of gonocoxites suggest this is a member of group I although it lacks elytral excitators. Instead elytra are covered with unusually long, erect setae. On the map (Fig. 28) marked as a female of unknown group.
