Calvariopsis sp., female, Ecuador, Sucumbios

Material examined. Female (SEMC): “ ECUADOR: Sucumbios \ Sacha Lodge, 0.5°S, \ 76.5°W, 270m, 14–24-III \ 1994, Hibbs, ex: malaise”.

Notes on morphology. Body of moderate size (TL 2.7 mm), dark brown with red humeral portions of elytra and yellowish suture in apical portion, excitators absent. Gonocoxites wide, subtriangular, with subapical gonostyli (Fig. 27H). Bursal sclerite elongate, with denticle in central portion.

Remarks. Size and morphology of gonocoxites suggest this is a member of group I although it lacks a foveate elytral excitator. On a map (Fig. 28) marked as a female of unknown group.
