Calling signal. Signals of males from the following localities were investigated.
1. Kyrgyzstan, West Tien Shan, Eastern part of Chatkal Mtn. Range, environs of Arkyt Village, wet meadow on riverbank, 16. VII. 2009, signals of one male recorded at 22–23 oC .
2. Kyrgyzstan, Batken Oblast, the shore of Tortkul’ Reservoir ca. 12 km South-West of Batken, alfalfa in apricot garden, 27. VI. 2016, signals of one male recorded at 30 oC .
In general, the calling signal structure is approximately the same as in A. (A.) venosa and A. (A.) chalchica (Figs. 118–120), but the temporal pattern of the second part is different (Figs. 121–123). Syllables in the second part of signal follow each other at a rate of 8–9/s at a temperature 22–23 oC and at a rate of 11–12/s at 30 oC.
Distribution. Southern half of Europe, Eastern Mediterranean (Israel), southwestern Ukraine (Odessa Oblast), Transcaucasia (Georgia), Western part of Southern Kazakhstan up to Syrdarya Karatau Mtn. Range, Kyrgyzstan (West Tien Shan), Tajikistan.
