Specimens studied. 4♂♂, 3♀♀, Liupanshan, Ningxia, alt. 1900-2300m, 2008-VI-23 ~ VII-7, collected by Bi Wen- Xuan .

Distribution. China (Gansu *, Ningxia).

Diagnosis. Karny’s (1934) description of Tachycines (Gymnaeta) brevicauda suggests that it is very close to Tachycines (Gymnaeta) coomani, but obviously differs in body size. This species was synonymized by Storozhenko, 1990 with Tachycines (Gymnaeta) coomani Chopard, 1929 . Here we consider that these two species should be regarded as two independent valid species for the differences in body size, subgenital plate of female and male genitalia.
