Diagnosis. Frons broad (F.I. less than 5) and nearly parallel. All coxae and femora yellow. Notopleuron with integument paler than adjacent scutum. Dorsolateral stripes series of disconnected patches. Subcallus brown, conspicuously inflated at lateral view.

Comments. This species is easily recognized by the rather broad frons (Fig. 21C). The female genitalia was described by Coscarón (1979).

Material examined. Holotype ♀, PARAGUAY, Cerro Pelado, Sept-1937, F. Schade coll. (USNM). PARAGUAY, San Pedro, Carumbé (3 ♀, ♂ INPA), BRASIL, Mato Grosso do Sul, Maracaju (10f# MZUSP, 2 f# INPA Also, the female simbol was not inserted.
