Subgenus Alnetoidia (Alnetoidia) Dlabola, 1958

Description. Body slender; general coloration yellow or yellowish white. Forewing slender, usually concolorous; outer apical cell about 2 times as long as wide; 2nd apical cell truncate basally. Second sternal apodeme in male with posterior lobes well developed, extended beyond 3rd sternite.

Male genitalia. Pygofer lobe not reaching to apex of subgenital plate; dorsal appendage movably articulated; microtrichia well developed. Subgenital plate long, nearly parallel-sided, rounded apically, with 3 macrosetae and several microsetae in a row. Style with prominent subapical lobe and truncate end, with more or less long apical part. Connective with long arm and broad median anterior lobe. Aedeagus various in shape; shaft symmetrical with processes; gonopore apical or subapical, on ventral side.
